Terms & Conditions
1. Estimates & Additional Work
All estimates are provided in good faith based on visible inspection only. Additional faults or hidden defects may become apparent during repair or disassembly. Where additional work is required that materially affects cost or timescale, the workshop will seek customer approval before proceeding wherever reasonably practicable.
2. Deposits & Payment
A deposit may be required before work commences, particularly for restoration work, custom work, or special-order parts. Full payment is due upon completion or collection or return of the instrument, bow, or associated items. The workshop reserves the right to retain possession of goods until payment has been made in full in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 and other applicable law.
3. Collection & Storage
Customers will be notified when work is complete. Items not collected within 90 days of notification may incur reasonable storage charges. Items remaining uncollected for 12 months, where reasonable attempts at contact have failed, may be treated as abandoned. The workshop reserves the right to sell or dispose of such goods in order to recover unpaid charges and storage costs, subject to applicable UK law.

Seasonal and environmental changes may affect setup, neck relief, action height, soundpost position, fret movement, tuning stability, and related adjustments after collection.
7. Bow Rehair & Bow Repairs
Bow rehairs and related work may reveal hidden weaknesses or defects. The workshop is not responsible for failure resulting from pre-existing structural weakness during routine rehairing or repair procedures. Customers are advised that bow hair is a consumable material affected by use, humidity, and environmental conditions.
